Massage

On the first visit to our massage parlour, our massage therapist checks dogs’ movements and collects info about their background and care histoy. Our massage therapist lets every dog get used to the massage room and to herself before starting the massage. During the service dogs get palpated thoughroughly to look for any swelling, warm or sore spots and anything abnormal. All massages are done respecting the dog’s limits and include stretching and mobilisation of the limbs.

Laser Therapy

The effectiveness of laser therapy on acute and chronic pain has been proven by scientific research. It can help soothe the discomfort caused by arthritis and surgeries.

During the treatment dogs feel some mild warmth, and the effects of it are usually immediate. One treatment lasts about 15 to 20 minutes. Laser therapy works best in series of between 3 to 6 treatments and it usually is a pleasant experience for the dog.

Massage + laser therapy

Massage therapy can be used to strengthen the effects of laser therapy. The service is tailored to each dog’s need, for example when treating arthritis the massage happens before the laser therapy, which is only done to areas that need it. In some other cases lasers might be used before giving the dog a massage.

Puppy’s first visit to the massage parlour

Puppyhood is the best time to introduce a dog to new things, so we designed this service to make massages a part of any dog’s routine. When a puppy comes for its first visit it gets introduced to our massage therapist’s handling, she examines the puppy thoroughly and teaches it to stand up. The puppy gets also taught to calm down and stay in place, and if needed our massage therapist can check the puppy’s theeth and ears. This service also helps the puppy understand its own body better.
